We're a small team of Aussie wine nerds who felt wine had to be dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Young folks grew up in a different world — so the way we talk about wine had to change to stay relevant.

COVID & the daily livestream
When COVID hit we launched a daily wine show from our winery in the Adelaide Hills — a bit of company and a chat about what was in the glass. 200 episodes in a row.

We get a studio
The audience wouldn't let us move on, so we leased a studio in the city and turned it into a full-on thing.

2023
Adelaide Hills move
Studios are expensive and YouTube doesn't pay well — so we had a choice: pay a lease or buy wine. We chose the wine, moved into our winery, and never looked back.

Bottle Shock the Bar
As the audience grew we wanted to help people upskill their wine knowledge in person. We opened our own blind-tasting venue with 150+ wines by the glass.

We taste blind, so we get into sticky situations. We've called our own wines mid without knowing we made them. The liquid speaks for itself.

Our original name and our mantra. This whole thing started because we wanted to talk to everyone — especially people who hate wine.
